Little Building Blocks Daycare LLC. in Gardner, KS is seeking a caring 2-Year-Old Teacher to join our team. You will plan engaging, developmentally appropriate activities that support toddlers’ growth.

You will guide potty training, maintain a warm, safe classroom, and use Conscious Discipline to support emotional development. Collaboration with staff and ongoing professional development are encouraged. We offer PTO, paid holidays, health options including dental and vision, and a Simple IRA

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with toddlers in a licensed setting.
• Strong knowledge of toddler development and age-appropriate teaching.
• Experience with potty training and supporting self-help skills.
• Frog Street Curriculum familiarity is a plus but not required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans for toddlers.
• Guide potty training with consistency and positive guidance.
• Establish a warm, safe classroom where children feel secure.
• Apply Conscious Discipline to manage behavior and support emotional growth.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom per licensing rules.
• Communicate regularly with parents about progress and routines.
• Collaborate with team and participate in ongoing professional development.
