Job summary

Integrated Solutions for Systems (IS4S) in Auburn, AL seeks a UI/UX Developer to lead visual elements and user interactions for Command and Control (C2) systems. You will join a multi-disciplinary team to create, develop, integrate, and deploy warfighter-focused solutions across modern browsers and devices.

The role requires a BS in engineering or CS, web tech skills (HTML5, CSS, JS/TS, XML, JSON, REST), experience with React, and the ability to travel for customer engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, computer science, or related technical field (for full-time applicants).
• In pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, computer science, or related technical field (for part-time applicants).
• Strong understanding of HTML-5, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, XML, JSON, and RESTful Web Services.
• Familiarity with common web frameworks and libraries (e.g., REACT).
• Be a visual thinker capable of conceptualizing and conveying engineering data, signals, and system interactions.

Responsibilities

• Interacting with operators, engineers, and customers to gather input and feedback
• Draft designs (wireframes, mock ups, concept implementations) that convey UI/UX
• Translate requirements into accessible, intuitive components aligned with C2 framework
• Provide input into system design that supports user needs
• Participate in testing for usability, reliability, performance, and cross-platform compatibility
• Participate in code reviews and enforce UI engineering best practices
