Job summary

Cabot Corporation in Tuscola, IL seeks a WPS Operator to perform warehousing tasks including shipping, receiving, packing, and material handling. The role involves operating a forklift, maintaining records, and following work instructions to ensure safe, efficient operations on site.

The position requires a High School diploma or equivalent and 2–3 years of related experience; apprenticeship may be required depending on location.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of related experience
• May require apprenticeship in some locations.

Responsibilities

• Uses WI and PQCP to process shipping, receiving, packing and warehousing of chemical materials.
• Enter work orders and requisitions in the business system where applicable.
• Prepare and pack orders for shipment; document and load shipments onto carriers.
• Receive/unpack goods, label for identification, and store items on floors or shelves.
• Operate forklift to move goods and materials around the plant.
• Perform routine maintenance on process and support equipment.
• Attend safety meetings and complete safety training requirements.
• Collect final product samples for QA testing and ensure PPE compliance.
• Work different shifts and overtime as needed.
• Support RC14001 implementation aligned with site requirements.
