DeSHAZO is a leading crane manufacturer in Alabama seeking a Warehouser to support inventory, shipping/receiving, and related tasks at our Alabaster facility. The role requires forklift certification and prior industrial work experience to ensure accurate stock and smooth material flow.

The successful candidate will operate a forklift, distribute shop supplies, maintain inventory levels, and help with pickups, deliveries, and loading checks. The position is day shift with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be forklift certified.
• Previous experience in an industrial environment preferred.

Job Summary:

The Warehouser will perform a variety of tasks regarding inventory.

JOB DUTIES:

• Ship/Receive incoming freights
• Distribute shop supplies upon employee requests.
• Maintain inventory of shop supplies.
• Operate forklift.
• Pickup/deliver items to different locations.
• Checkout loads that are leaving to ensure all items are on the truck.
• Assist with shop cleanup.
• Other duties as needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must be forklift certified.
• Previous experience working in an industrial environment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to stand/walk 95% of the workday.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance from overhead cranes or coworkers.
• Twist, reach, and bend frequently.
• Possess hand/eye coordination and bilateral dexterity (gross and fine).
• Possess depth perception and peripheral vision.
• Possess the ability to hear.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Subject to standing on hard surfaces up to 12 hours per day.
• Exposure to hot and cold conditions, noise, chemicals, heavy equipment and machinery.
