Grace, a leading chemical manufacturer, is seeking a Warehouseman for our Baltimore/Curtis Bay, MD Plant. The role covers material movements, inventory tracking, and safety compliance across plant operations.

Responsibilities include processing orders, forklift handling, receiving stock, conducting cycle counts, and maintaining clean, safe work areas while adhering to EH&S guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Warehouse/manufacturing experience in a similar industry.
• 1+ years of forklift experience.
• Ability to read, write and type English.
• Ability to read and comprehend detailed specifications and basic math.
• Candidate must complete the Skills Assessment.
• Candidate must pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete warehouse orders for delivery and pick up packed material according to schedule.
• Handle, store, and transport chemicals, including potentially hazardous chemicals.
• Receive and process warehouse stock products.
• Perform warehouse inventory controls and maintain quality standards.
• Offload and load containers using forklift.
• Assist with monthly inventory and cycle counts for finished products.

Job Description

WR Grace is a leading Manufacturer of Specialty Chemicals and is seeking an experienced Warehouseman for our Baltimore/Curtis Bay, MD Plant. This position will be responsible for all material movements and inventory tracking.All employees at the Curtis Bay Site have environment, health and safety roles and responsibilities and are accountable for achieving compliance with our EHS Policy including emergency preparedness and response as defined in site-wide and local area documentation.

• Prepare and complete warehouse orders for delivery and pick up packed material according to schedule
• Handle, store, and transport chemicals, including potentially hazardous chemicals. Must work safely with hazardous chemicals and materials.
• Receive and process warehouse stock products
• Perform warehouse inventory controls keeping quality standards
• Offload and load containers using forklift
• Assist with monthly inventory and monthly cycle counts for finished products, including blocking and bracing shipments
• Must work well independently with minimal supervision
• Act as a safety leader. Comply with all plant environmental, health, safety, and process safety standards and procedures. Report hazards, deviations, and injuries in a timely manner
• Perform process equipment troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and minor repairs
• Ensure a high standard of housekeeping is maintained in all assigned areas
• May be assigned other duties that are equivalent in skill to job requirements

Physical Requirements and Environment

• Ability to follow safety protocols and standards working in a pilot plant facility with highly hazardous materials
• Ability to work in a high hazard environment, including adverse weather conditions, elevated spaces, confined spaces, extreme temperatures, and noisy surroundings.
• Must be able to stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb stairs and ladders over 100 ft.
• Must be willing to wear PPE (Personal Protective equipment) including but not limited to hard hat, protective eyewear, steel-toed boots, hearing protection, Level A suit, full face respirator

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Warehouse or manufacturing experience in a similar industry
• 1+ years of forklift experience
• Ability to read write and type the English language
• Ability to read and comprehend detailed specifications, including computer graphical user interface and basic math ability
• Candidate must successfully complete the SkillsAssessment
• Candidate must pass a background check and drug screen before employment.
