Job Title: Warehouseman(NARA II)

Job Summary: EMCOR Government Services is seeking a Warehousemanin College Park, MD. This position will work in the Warehouse and perform tasks associate with warehouse operations. This is an IUOE, Local 99-represented position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading delivery trucks. Receive, inspect, and verify incoming government materials and supplies against shipping documents.
  • Material inspections, stocking shelves.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks (electrical and manual), and other warehouse equipment to move sensitive materials carefully and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate inventory using warehouse and records management systems (e.g., Maximo).
  • Ensure warehouse cleanliness, organization, and compliance with security and safety regulations.
  • Staging material for specific projects.
  • Retrieve, prepare, and stage materials for internal transfer, agency requests, or scheduled transport to archival storage.
  • Perform monthly inventory audits, reconciliations, and record updates to ensure compliance with NARA property management regulations.
  • Prepare and issue items based on requisitions, work orders, or schedules while maintaining proper documentation.
  • May occasionally be required to drive the company vehicle for pickups and deliveries

Qualifications:

  • Valid Driver’s license required
  • Prior warehouse experience is required
  • Must have at least one year experience safely utilizing handheld pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, and furniture moving equipment.
  • Forklift License/Certification a plus.
  • Prior experience with Maximo or other CMMS preferred
  • Experience with assembling and disassembling office cubicles, desks, shelving, and storage systems as part of office moves or reconfigurations preferred

Physical Demands:

  • Heavy physical effort (lift/carry up to 75 lbs / push up to 150 lbs)
  • Heavy lifting, stooping, and bending.
  • Push/pull or move/lift equipment, supplies.
  • Prolong, extensive or considerable standing/walking, and sitting.
  • Manual dexterity and mobility.
  • Considerable reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching.
