Qualifications

  • 1-5 years of warehouse experience required, electrical experience preferred.
  • Must obtain CDL Class A driver's license within 60 days of hire.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Warehouseman supports all aspects the daily warehouse operations.

Essential Functions

  • Complete tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, picking, stocking, staging, fabrication and transportation of materials
  • Load and unload materials to and from designated storage area, such as racks, shelves, or vehicles
  • Complete and maintain inventories
  • Maintain condition of work area (i.e. free of trash, product in correct location, etc.)
  • Follow company safety policies and procedures
  • Receive and fill orders
  • Drive company vehicles to pick up and deliver material
  • Regular and predictable attendance
  • Essential functions of this position are to be performed in a Company-designated office or field location
  • Understand and comply with the Company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and other industry-specific professional and ethical conduct standards, if applicable
  • Other duties as assigned

Facility maintenance responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

  • Routine Maintenance: Performing daily tasks like cleaning, maintaining, and repairing building fixtures and equipment (e.g., locks, windows, doors, etc.).
  • Repairs: Diagnosing and repairing a variety of issues, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and structural problems.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Conducting regular inspections and maintenance to prevent issues from escalating, such as HVAC filter replacement and system adjustments.
  • Landscaping: Maintaining grounds, including mowing, trimming, and planting.
  • Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and work orders.
  • Coordination: Collaborating with external contractors and vendors as needed.

ABOUT YOU

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 - 5 years of warehouse experience, electrical experience preferred
  • High school diploma or GED

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with tool/material tracking databases, Tool Watch preferred
  • Number sense
  • Ability to problem solve

  • Salary commensurate with experience, paid weekly via direct deposit.
    • Commensurate with experience, paid weekly. Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. MYR Group reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
