Job summary

LB Water Service is seeking a hardworking warehouse worker to manage and maintain inventory, fill shipping or transfer orders, operate machinery, and keep the warehouse organized. A forklift is required to move materials and ensure accurate handling of stock.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience is preferred.

• Ability to lift heavy objects and work efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage company inventory.
• Fill shipping or transfer orders from stock per instructions.
• Operate machinery including forklifts; move materials as needed.
• Keep warehouse organized and clean; ensure accuracy of orders.
• Prepare trucks for deliveries with pulled material.
• Provide excellent customer service to walk-in customers.
• Assist with other duties and team projects as assigned.

General Characteristics

In this role, you will be required fill shipping or transfer orders from stored merchandise in accordance with pull slip or other instructions, operate machinery, and ensure that the warehouse is organized and clean. Must use forklift to move materials.

Representative Activities

• Maintains open communication with warehouse manager
• Receiving and processing incoming stock and materials
• Picking and filling orders from stock
• Checks accuracy of incoming and outgoing orders
• Prepare trucks for deliveries with correctly pulled material
• Provides excellent customer service to walk-in customers
• Operating machinery such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
• Ensures warehouse and yard are kept neat and clean and takes pride in our appearance
• Help maintain property which may include mowing and snow removal
• Help maintain company vehicle appearance by washing and cleaning inside
• Work individually or as a team to perform assigned projects
• Treats co-works with respect
• Must be L/B Water Forklift certified
• Knowledge of materials, part numbers and applications
• Knowledge of pipe Outside diameters
• Performing other relevant dutiesas assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous experience as a warehouse worker is preferred.
• Knowledge of warehouse procedures and safety protocols.
• Experience in operating machinery such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
• Ability to lift heavy objects.
• Good organizational and time management skills.

Compensation:

This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $20 to $25, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
