Summary

Milgard Windows and Doors is a leader in the window and door industry, renowned for our dedication to quality and innovation. We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Associate to join our team on the swing shift. This role is essential in maintaining the smooth operation of our warehouse activities. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for handling the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and products within the warehouse during the swing shift. This role demands attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.

The hourly compensaion starts at $23.00, plus $2.00 shift differential. You will work Monday through Friday, starting at 3:30 p.m.

Responsibilities
  • Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments of materials and products.
  • Organize and store materials in designated warehouse locations.
  • Pick and prepare orders for shipment to customers or other company locations.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock counts.
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet shipping and receiving targets.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Report any discrepancies or issues to the warehouse supervisor promptly.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role preferred.
  • Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (certification preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic computer literacy and ability to learn inventory management software.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials.
  • Flexibility to work the swing shift and overtime as required.
