Job description

Shift: 7:00pm - 3:30am Sundays

Remainder of the week: Work as many or few hours as you choose, up to 29 hours per week, based on available shifts.

Pay rate: $21.90 per hour (includes shift differential)

What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health

Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing and controlling manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of products. This includes functions such as receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, and delivery. The team ensures the efficient flow of products from receipt from vendors to shipment to internal and external customers.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Comfort working at heights of 20-30 ft regularly
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift, and stand for the entire shift
• Ability to follow directions and adapt to changing priorities
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with technologies like computers or point of sale systems is a plus

Responsibilities

• Follow established processes to fulfill orders, including accurately picking products, performing quality control checks, packing, and preparing orders for shipment.
• Cross-train in multiple warehouse areas and participate in projects as needed.
• Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Willingness to train and be certified to operate material handling equipment such as order pickers, forklifts, reach trucks, turret trucks, pallet jacks, and walkie riders.
