What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health

Warehouse Operations ensures an uninterrupted flow of life-saving drugs through the pharmaceutical supply chain. We are responsible for performing crucial tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of sensitive products. Our efforts directly contribute to hospitals' and pharmacies' ability to administer essential pharmaceutical products to patients who need them most.

Responsibilities in this role

• Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to process orders, including accurately picking, performing quality control checks, sorting, consolidating freight, building and wrapping pallets, packing, loading, and preparing orders for shipment.
• Work in cold temperatures throughout segments of the shift.
• Cross-train in multiple areas of the warehouse and participate in projects as assigned by management.
• Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks, maintaining a clean work environment and complying with all Environmental Health and Safety requirements.

Qualifications

We are open to candidates with little to no warehouse experience. If you are comfortable working in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment, you could be a great fit for our team. All training is provided starting your first day!

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Comfort working at heights of 20-30 ft regularly
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift, and stand for the entire shift
• Ability to follow directions and adapt to changing priorities
• Able to work in cold storage temperatures ranging from 38-43 degrees
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with technologies like computers or point of sale systems is a plus
• High School Diploma/GED preferred
