My Auto Store in Camden, New Jersey is seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Worker for the second shift to ensure quality control of car parts, prepare them for distribution, and support general warehouse operations. The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 75 pounds, and collaborating with a team to maintain a safe, organized warehouse.

The position is unionized and pays $19.98 per hour, with a Monday–Friday 3pm–11pm schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred but not required.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 75 pounds.
• Dismantling/automobile experience preferred.
• Team oriented with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control inspections on car parts, identifying defects to ensure high standards.
• Clean and prepare car parts for storage or shipment.
• Organize and store parts and materials in designated areas for easy access.
• Assist with physical inventories, cycle counts, and stock rotation.
• Communicate with management regarding concerns or improvement ideas.
• Collaborate with team to support daily warehouse operations.
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse and follow PPE safety rules.

My Auto Store is currently seeking a highly detailed-oriented and physically capable Warehouse Worker Second Shift to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality control of car parts, preparing them for distribution, and supporting general warehouse operations. You must be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 75 pounds, and work collaboratively with others to maintain an efficient and organized work environment. This is a union position which pays $19.98hr. The shift will be Monday through Friday 3pm to 11pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform quality control inspections on car parts, identifying any defects, damage, or wear to ensure high standards of quality.
• Clean and prepare car parts, such as bumpers and doors, for proper storage or shipment.
• Organize and store car parts and materials in designated areas for easy access and efficient retrieval.
• Assist with physical inventories, cycle counts, and ensure proper stock rotation.
• Communicate effectively with management regarding any concerns, issues, or ideas for improvement.
• Work collaboratively with team members to support daily warehouse operations.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse by performing routine cleaning and organizational tasks.
• Follow safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in all tasks.
• Must have dismantling and/or automobile experience.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 75 pounds as needed.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to perform occasional bending and kneeling as part of the job.
• Positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a clean, safe, and productive warehouse.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred but not required.
