Position Summary

The Warehouse Worker is responsible for assisting in venue distribution/warehouse operations including inventory, receiving, purchasing, ordering, lay-ins, purchase order tracking, clean-up, transfers, and equipment maintenance. This is a key position for the effective and profitable operation of the business. The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work a variable event-driven schedule which includes evenings and weekends. Open availability, professional presentation, outstanding interpersonal skills, self-direction, and independent decision-making skills are required.

This role pays an hourly rate of $18.27-$18.50.

This is a seasonal role from May 2, 2025, and will end on May 26, 2025.

This position will remain open until May 26, 2025.

Responsibilities
  1. Assist with product purchasing/ordering, receiving, and distribution control for the venue.
  2. Maintain sanitation and organizational systems of all warehouse storage areas.
  3. Fulfill all event expectations including requisitioning during events, post-event breakdown, warehouse returns, equipment storage, sanitation, and maintenance.
  4. Oversee and ensure appropriate stocking levels for each event; rotate and maintain product integrity.
  5. Ensure proper transfer process of product between locations, including follow-up documentation.
  6. Perform routine maintenance; responsible for cleaning and maintaining concession and utility equipment: portable equipment, burden carriers, carts, floors, refrigeration, and lighting.
  7. Ensure manifested equipment is in the correct location.
  8. Evaluate warehouse employee performance.
  9. Maintain employee records, written warnings, reviews, and other related documents.
  10. Conduct daily walk-throughs of the commissary, warehouse, and storage areas to ensure cleanliness.
Qualifications
  • Effective communication with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management, and guests in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Ability to make quick, sound decisions regarding operations and staffing during events.
  • Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
  • Thorough knowledge of all existing concession locations, equipment, evacuation procedures, and facility access.
  • Valid Food Handlers certificate and Alcohol Service Permit if required by local regulations.
  • Knowledge of sanitation requirements, food preparation guidelines, alcohol policies, and safety standards related to venue operations.
  • Basic math skills related to POS transactions, cash reconciliation, and inventory.
  • Adherence to high standards of integrity, professionalism, ethics, and confidentiality.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of foodservice/hospitality experience; venue experience is a plus.
  • Food service certification.
  • Ability to stand and walk extensively; capable of reaching, sitting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Visual acuity to adjust focus, peripheral, and close vision.
