Temperature Controlled Warehouse, Sunday-Thursday nights

Empire Distributors Inc, a leading beverage distributor, is hiring a PM Warehouse Worker. Our company offers competitive wages, growth opportunities, and benefits including health care, retirement plans, paid time off, company-paid life insurance, and supplemental Aflac and legal plans.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Read production schedule, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
2. Safely operate forklift equipment.
3. Convey materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
4. Select, stock, load, and unload products ordered by customers.
5. Fill requisitions accurately and efficiently by retrieving required products per customer orders.
6. Sort and place materials or items on conveyers, racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined criteria.
7. Assemble customer orders from stock and prepare them for shipping.
8. Mark materials with identifying information accurately.
9. Load trucks according to wave sequence and prepare outgoing loads.
10. Return products to appropriate areas and open/pack containers as needed.
11. Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment, including cleanup at shift end.
12. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED, or 1-3 months related experience, or equivalent.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations

• Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification.
• Forklift experience preferred.
