Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a flexible Warehouse Operations teammate to support high-volume days and PTO coverage. You will work on a rotating schedule with a mandatory Tuesday shift from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with additional shifts chosen by you and ongoing, up to ~29 hours per week.

Roles include receiving, picking, packing, shipping, storage, and order fulfillment. Training starts on day one, and entry is open to all; safety and attendance are emphasized throughout onboarding.

Qualifications

• No warehouse experience required; training provided starting your first day.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfort working with heights 20-30 ft regularly.
• Bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift.
• Flexible to work overtime as needed.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with computers or POS systems is a plus.
• High School Diploma/GED preferred; basic English proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Follow established process to fulfill orders, including picking, packing and preparing shipments.
• Cross-training in multiple warehouse areas and participate in projects as needed.
• Perform housekeeping and inventory control and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Willingness to train and be certified to drive material handling equipment as required by job duty.
• Equipment in the facility includes order picker, forklift, reach truck, turret truck, pallet jack and walkie rider.

Schedule Details

This role operates on a flexible schedule based on business volume. Flex workers are mainly used to support high‑volume days, planned PTO coverage and high call‑off periods. Available shifts may vary by location and week. Candidate will be required to work one mandatory shift per week on Tuesday from 6:30AM - 3:00PM or until finish. Any additional shifts may be selected by the candidate. Create a schedule that works for you by selecting available shifts throughout the week Days and hours per week are flexible based on your availability and business needs but will not exceed 29 hours per average on an ongoing basis. Once a shift is accepted, candidates are expected to work the full scheduled shift and adhere to standard attendance expectations. Receive shift opportunities, work updates, and important announcements directly to your mobile device Enjoy the flexibility to manage your schedule without traditional time‑off requests Accepted shifts are worked until operational work is complete and may extend beyond the estimated end time. New hires may require completion of a 1–3 day onboarding ramp during the first week or first pay period. About the Role

What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers. You will receive and fulfill orders so our customers can have the products they need to take care of their patients.

Qualifications
