Job summary

Cardinal Health, Inc. is hiring for a Warehouse Operations Associate II to support inbound or outbound activities, ensuring quality, safety, productivity, and adherence to standards.

You will handle receiving, storage, and shipment of products with a focus on accurate picking, packing, and distribution. The role requires 1-2 years of experience, a High School diploma or GED, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience, preferred.
• High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfort working with heights 20-30 ft regularly operating equipment.
• Must be willing to be certified on equipment i.e. reach trucks and cherry pickers.

Responsibilities

• Accurately picks, packs, and ships medical supply orders.
• Uses Manhattan Warehouse Management System to check in products. If working with specialty products, must follow regulations to store refrigerated products.
• Stores products in warehouse locations using order picker or other PIT equipment.
• Loads products onto outbound trucks.

Anticipated hourly range: $20.00 per hour - $23.57 per hour based on experience (includes shift differential)

The hourly range listed is an estimate. Pay at Cardinal Health is determined by multiple factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s geographical location, relevant education, experience and skills and an evaluation of internal pay equity.

Hours for this position are: 10:00am - 6:30pm (or working until the work is complete) Monday - Friday. Must be flexible to work overtime based on business needs.

What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health

Operations is responsible for materials handling and product distribution in a distribution or manufacturing environment. Includes warehousing and fulfillment of materials and products, transportation, inventory management as well as demand, supply and manufacturing planning.

Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.

Job Summary
