Job summary

Don's Prepared Foods is seeking a Warehouse Worker at our Schwenksville, PA plant. This hourly, non-exempt role starts around 6:30 AM, Monday to Friday, with end times based on production. You will pack, stack, move, and pick orders, and perform inventory posting in ERP.

Requirements include lifting 50 pounds, ability to work in a cold environment, standing long hours, and English literacy. Forklift experience strongly preferred; competitive benefits and a sign-on bonus are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in a cold environment (34-36 degrees).
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Must be able to use a pallet jack. Forklift experience strongly preferred.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to read, write, and comprehend English.

Responsibilities

• Pack finished products into boxes.
• Stack products on pallets.
• Move product to inventory locations and rotate stock using pallet jack/forklift.
• Pick customer orders with attention to expiration dates and item numbers.
• Count items for inventory posting in ERP system.
• Follow established procedures and food safety guidelines.
• Assist other areas of the Warehouse as needed.

Don's Prepared Foods is the leading manufacturer on the East Coast of prepared gourmet deli salads, gourmet cream cheese spreads, dips, entrée's and more. Don's is a family-owned business and manufactures over 130 products spanning across its three brands: Don's Salads, Melanie's Medleys and Artisan Deli. Our Warehouse department is seeking a Warehouse Worker to join the team at our Schwenksville, PA food manufacturing plant. This is an hourly, non-exempt position that typically starts at 6:30AM from Monday-Friday (no weekends!) with flexible end times according to production needs. Candidates who are dedicated, consistent, and organized with a warehouse background in a manufacturing environment are strongly encouraged to apply. Forklift experience preferred.

Job responsibilities

• Pack finished products into boxes
• Stack products on pallets
• Move product to inventory locations and rotate stock using pallet jack/forklift
• Pick customer orders with attention to expiration dates/item numbers of products to be picked

• Adhere to food safety standards and sanitation guidelines
