Job summary

Turner Industries is seeking a Warehouse Worker for a full-time, on-site position in Norco, LA. You will receive, store, and distribute materials, tools, and equipment, reporting to the Foreman.

Responsibilities include following procedures, cycle counts, and maintaining a safe, organized work area. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 2+ years of warehouse experience (preferred), SAP or similar systems experience, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 2 years of warehouse or related experience preferred.
• Experience using SAP or similar inventory systems is preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and related apps.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification preferred.
• Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Knowledge of inventory control procedures and warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Stores, removes, loads, and unloads materials from storage bins, pallets and vehicles.
• Operates manual or mechanical devices and stocks inventory shelves.
• Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order or requisition to determine items to be moved.
• Assorts and places materials on racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined sequences.
• Moves materials and supplies from the warehouse and prepares for delivery.
• Fills requisitions, work orders or requests for materials or stock items.
• Records material items received or distributed; may maintain inventory records.
• Performs routine housekeeping tasks to maintain the work area.
• Performs additional assignments per supervisor's direction.

We are seeking a Warehouse Worker for a position in Norco, LA. The Warehouse position receives, stores, and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products. Non-exempt role; Reports to the Foreman; Assigned duties according to specific procedures / work is checked frequently.

Essential Qualifications:

• High school or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of warehouse, logistics, materials management, or related experience preferred
• Experience utilizing SAP or similar inventory management systems
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and other computer applications
• Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and provide quality customer service
• Working knowledge of inventory control procedures and warehouse operations
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification preferred
• Previous experience in a refinery, petrochemical, manufacturing, or industrial environment preferred
• Experience performing cycle counts and inventory audits preferred
• Knowledge of MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) materials and warehouse processes preferred
• Familiarity with material staging, turnaround support, and maintenance operations preferredExcellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem solving skills

Functional Requirements:

Compensation

Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.

Physical Involvement:
