Job summary

Turner Industries is seeking a Warehouse Worker in Norco, LA to receive, store, and distribute materials in a busy industrial setting. You will report to the Foreman and perform duties per procedures, with work checked frequently to ensure accuracy and safety.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and 2+ years in warehousing, plus experience with SAP or similar systems, and forklift operation. Strong organizational skills and teamwork are essential for success at Turner Industries.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent.
• 2+ years warehouse/logistics experience preferred.
• Experience using SAP or similar inventory systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Team-oriented with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of inventory control procedures and warehouse operations.
• Experience in refinery, petrochemical, manufacturing, or industrial environment preferred.
• Experience performing cycle counts and audits preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stores, loads, and unloads materials from storage bins, pallets and vehicles.
• Reads schedules and orders to determine items to move or distribute.
• Places materials on racks, shelves, or bins according to sequence.
• Prepares inventory for delivery and maintains records.
• Performs routine housekeeping to keep the work area clean and safe.
• Performs additional assignments as directed by supervision.
