Job summary

Mill Creek Lumber and Supply Company is seeking a reliable Delivery/Warehouse Worker for our MCCT Stoneridge Nixa Warehouse in Nixa, MO. This full-time role offers $16.00-$19.00 per hour with first shift hours and steady work supporting inventory, order fulfillment, and deliveries.

You will inspect incoming materials, store items, prepare orders for delivery, operate warehouse equipment, and assist drivers while upholding safety, accuracy, and great customer service in a fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience as a warehouse worker is helpful but not required.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and DOT consideration.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy in inventory.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and store flooring materials and shipments.
• Prepare orders for delivery or pickup with accuracy.
• Operate trucks, forklifts, and pallet jacks safely.
• Assist delivery drivers with residential/commercial jobsites.

As a Warehouse Worker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of our warehouse, supporting our commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. You will also be trusted with safe delivery of products.

Responsibilities

• Receive, and inspect incoming flooring materials, ensuring accuracy and quality of shipments.
• Safely and efficiently store flooring materials in designated warehouse locations, following proper handling procedures and inventory management protocols.
• Retrieve and prepare orders for delivery or pickup, ensuring accurate quantities and specifications are met.
• Operate warehouse equipment, such as delivery trucks, forklifts and pallet jacks in order to safely move and transport materials within the warehouse and/or to customer homes or construction sites.
• Assist in conducting regular inventory counts and reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with other warehouse team members and supervisors to fulfill customer orders in a timely and efficient manner.
• Communicate with and occasionally assist delivery drivers on residential/commercial jobsite material deliveries.
• Follow company policies and procedures regarding safety, security, and equipment maintenance.
• Perform other warehouse-related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen (no mmj as vehicles will be DOT regulated).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a warehouse worker or similar role is helpful but not required.
• Missouri Class E driver's license required. Can be obtained prior to the start of employment.
• Ability to learn to safely operate warehouse equipment, such as trucks/forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory and fulfilling orders.
• Physical stamina to perform manual tasks and lift heavy materials (up to 50 pounds) on a daily basis.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Basic computer skills for inventory management and documentation purposes.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
