Summary:

As the Warehouse Worker, you will assist with the smooth flow of all warehouse-related activities. You will be responsible for specialized warehouse tasks in receiving, inventory, and order processing. Hours of Operation are 4pm - 12am (midnight).

Key Responsibilities:

1. Work with transport drivers to ensure incoming loads are received in a timely manner.
2. Able to review receiving documentation to ensure accuracy.
3. Maintain the warehouse configuration according to the approved layout for product, packaging and equipment storage.
4. Properly load a pallet to trucks and ensure loads are stable and secure.
5. Practice good housekeeping skills i.e. clean up spills immediately or flag the area off, avoid blocking emergency exits and report any potential hazards to a supervisor.
6. Follow all established safety rules and obey safety signs and tags.
7. Properly operate forklift, pallet jack and other necessary powered equipment.
8. Ensure product is inspected for quality, product/pallets properly tagged and rotated.
9. Understand how to read and utilize pick tickets to pick, pack and load orders.
10. Verify that all return labels have been approved/checked prior to placing product back in inventory.
11. Understand and perform all the appropriate HACCP plans assigned.
12. Ensure product is fully received, rotation is complete, and product is staged in the correct quantities.
13. Promptly report all the repairs needed and ensure preventive maintenance is performed on your equipment.
14. Perform necessary emergency replenishment for products that run below minimum levels to meet customer order demands from the daily order selection shift.
15. Perform other duties, as assigned.

What You Bring to Pacific Seafood:

Required:

1. High school diploma or GED.
2. No experience necessary, willing to train on the job.

Preferred:

1. Forklift and pallet jack experience.
2. Forklift certification.
3. Driver’s License.
