Job summary

Benshaw is seeking a Warehouse Worker in Pittsburgh, PA to support daily operations, including material handling, picking, packing, and basic shipping/receiving. This role requires reliability, basic computer skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include using forklifts/reach trucks, organizing stock, assisting with cycle counts, and helping unload incoming shipments. Candidates must be 18+, have a HS diploma, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Forklift/reach truck experience (training provided).
• Previous warehouse experience preferred, especially picking/shipping/receiving.
• Basic computer use for simple data entry.
• Reliable and able to work in a fast-paced warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pull large quantities of parts and materials for production shop orders.
• Perform basic shipping and receiving tasks, including counting, weighing, or measuring items to verify accuracy against paperwork.
• Assist with unloading and inspecting incoming shipments; report any damages or shortages to the appropriate team members.
• Prepare materials for shipment by weighing, packaging, labeling, and completing simple forms as needed.
• Use warehouse equipment—including forklifts and reach trucks—to move, stack, and retrieve palletized materials from various storage areas (training provided if needed).
• Return materials to stock, organize warehouse shelves, and maintain clean, orderly work areas.
• Support inventory functions such as cycle counts, repacking, and accurately putting items away from receiving.
• Assist the receiving department and perform general warehouse duties as assigned by management.

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to safely lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, with or without reasonable accommodation.
