Job Description: Warehouse Associate at Penske Logistics

Penske Logistics is seeking warehouse associates to join our team. This role is ideal for safety-conscious individuals with a friendly, outgoing attitude who want to succeed in a warehouse environment.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Lift cases up to 45 lbs and handle pallet wrapping and labeling
2. Operate equipment such as Crown Reach Deep, Blue Yonder Scan guns, and terminals
3. Put away pallets up to 2,000 lbs across levels 1-6
4. Stand for up to 7.25 hours a day on machinery
5. Load and unload trailers
6. Label products accurately with LPNs, involving bending and reaching
7. Weigh or count items for distribution to ensure quality standards
8. Use warehouse management systems to scan products
9. Maintain clean and safe work areas
10. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other mechanical equipment (where applicable)
11. Transport stored items within the warehouse and to shipment points (where applicable)
12. Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors

Qualifications:

• No prior experience required; preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Proficient in reading and following instructions
• Ability to work independently, multitask, organize, and manage time effectively
• Flexible with overtime
• Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions
• Reliable attendance is essential
• Willing to work at the designated location and schedule
• Must pass background check and drug screening

Physical Requirements:

This role requires frequent movement, standing, walking, and sitting. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.
