**Position Summary**
The Warehouse Worker performs all necessary functions for the successful arrival, departure, and delivery of specific products within the business segment.

**Job Responsibilities**

• Loads and unloads materials into or from vehicles and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
• Prepares products for delivery prior to loading.
• Operates forklift successfully to assist in transfer of product.
• Scans product upon arrival and records data to maintain accurate inventory.
• Unloads product and places it in the appropriate storage facility within the warehouse.
• Pulls the appropriate amount and type of product from the warehouse based on shipping orders.
• Maintains a clean warehouse and is aware of potential safety hazards.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.

**Qualifications / Requirements**

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ years of warehouse experience required or equivalent education and experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook, and Internet applications.
• Basic analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management, and planning skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Understanding and application of mathematical concepts.
• Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships.
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools, power tools, forklifts, welding equipment, and cutting torch.
• Ability to work overtime as necessary.

**Physical Aspects / Work Environment**

• Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, handle, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, hear, and see.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
• Exposure to wet/humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes, extreme temperatures, electrical hazards, and chemicals.
• High noise levels possible.
