Job summary

Zurn Elkay Water Solutions Corporation is seeking a Warehouse Worker I to receive, unpack, and store materials, pick and pack orders, and perform light assembly under direct supervision.

Headquartered in Milwaukee, WI, this role involves operating forklifts and pallet jacks, ensuring accurate quantities, and maintaining safety. The position offers competitive pay and benefits and opportunities for growth within a global plumbing and water delivery leader.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with LTL and UPS shipping.
• On a continuous basis: stand, bend and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Good communication, data entry, basic math and organization skills.
• Experience working with standard hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Off-loading trucks utilizing forklift and pallet jack.
• Verify that the quality, type, and amount of materials received are accurate.
• Breaking down freight - hand off-loading of product to consolidated put-away location.
• Picking product orders - hand loading product to pallets.
• Packaging outbound shipments - wraps, straps or over pack boxing of product.
• Manifesting UPS shipments.
• Creates bills of lading for truck carriers.
• Produce and attach identifying tags to product or shipments.
• Fulfills all safety responsibilities.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by Production Supervisor/Lead

Job Description

Under direct supervision, the Warehouse Associate I receives, unpacks, checks, and stows warehouses materials. Picks, packs, crates, and ships product to fill orders. Conducts light assembly work, operates power equipment, and performs a variety of tasks under direct supervision. Perform quality checks as needed and properly record results if necessary. Alert Leadsperson of any quality problems, part shortages, machine breakdowns or any other situations.

• High School Degree or equivalent preferred

• Ability to work in a team setting
