Job Description

The Warehouse Worker’s main responsibilities include receiving and processing incoming products, preparing orders for transport, and performing inventory and quality control duties. This person ensures the warehouse is clean and organized, maintained in accordance with the facility protocols and safety standards.

Job Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect products, accurately label items, and report discrepancies in deliveries and invoices.
• Organize and store incoming products in designated locations, applying FIFO (first in, first out) inventory controls for perishable items.
• Operate manual pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, and/or forklifts, with training if necessary.
• PICK inventory to assemble orders for requisitions or established par levels.
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures to ensure accuracy and meet production standards.
• Load, unload, and transport products within the warehouse or to other client locations, using carts, PIVs, or motor vehicles as required.
• Conduct routine physical inventory counts according to schedule.
• Complete administrative duties accurately, including inventory records, temperature logs, spoilage logs, and equipment inspections, using paper or digital systems.
• Maintain cleanliness in work areas, including restrooms, break areas, loading docks, and freight areas.
• Implement safety policies, OSHA requirements, SDS standards, and emergency procedures; use all required safety and PPE equipment.
• Ensure the security of client and company assets.
• Interact professionally with clients, employees, vendors, and guests, and attend meetings as needed.
