Job Description

The Warehouse Worker’s main responsibilities include receiving and processing incoming products, preparing orders for transport, and performing inventory and quality control duties. This person ensures the warehouse is clean and organized, maintained in accordance with the facility protocols and safety standards.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for receiving and inspecting products, accurately labeling items, and reporting discrepancies in deliveries and invoices.
• Organize and store all incoming products in designated locations, applying FIFO (first in, first out) inventory controls for perishable items.
• Operate manual pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, and/or forklifts, with training if necessary.
• Pick inventory to assemble orders for requisitions or established par levels.
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures to ensure accuracy and meet production standards.
• Load, unload, and transport products and materials within the warehouse or to other client locations, using carts, PIVs, or motor vehicles as required.
• Conduct routine physical inventory counts based on established schedules.
• Complete administrative duties such as inventory records, temperature logs, spoilage logs, and equipment inspections, either on paper or in digital systems.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, including restrooms, break areas, loading docks, and freight zones.
• Implement safety policies, OSHA requirements, SDS standards, and emergency procedures; use all safety and PPE equipment.
• Ensure the security of client and company assets.
• Interact professionally with clients, employees, vendors, and guests, and attend meetings as needed.
