Job Description

The Warehouse Worker's main responsibilities include receiving and processing incoming products, preparing orders for transport, and performing inventory and quality control duties. This person ensures the warehouse is clean and organized, maintained in accordance with facility protocols and safety standards.

Job Responsibilities
  • Receive and inspect products, accurately label items, and report discrepancies in deliveries and invoices.
  • Organize and store incoming products, applying FIFO controls for perishables.
  • Operate manual pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, and/or forklifts after training.
  • Pick inventory to assemble orders for requisitions or established par levels.
  • Follow SOPs to meet accuracy and production standards.
  • Load, unload, and transport products within the warehouse or to other client locations, using carts, PIVs, or motor vehicles as required.
  • Conduct routine physical inventory counts based on schedule.
  • Complete administrative duties accurately, including records of inventory, temperature logs, equipment inspections, etc., using paper or digital systems.
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas, including restrooms, break areas, loading docks, and freight zones.
  • Implement safety policies, OSHA requirements, SDS standards, and emergency procedures, using all safety and PPE equipment.
  • Secure client and company assets appropriately.
  • Interact professionally with clients, employees, vendors, and guests, and attend meetings as needed.

Qualifications
  • Must be over 18 years old
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 2+ years warehouse experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Basic reading, writing, arithmetic, and computer skills
  • Manual dexterity for machinery operation
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and carry objects up to 35 lbs
  • Valid driver’s license may be required for some locations, with MVR check

This role may involve physical activities such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended standing or walking. Uniforms and PPE may be required.
