Job summary

Dover Food Retail in Centerville, IA is seeking a Warehouse Worker II to support receiving, storing and issuing materials for our operations. The role involves inventory accuracy, bin management and on-floor parts handling, with an emphasis on safety and teamwork.

• Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisor
• Maintain work area in clean, safe and orderly manner
• Operate fork-truck
• Perform other duties as assigned

What we are looking for:

The Warehouse Worker is responsible for receiving, storing, and issuing materials, equipment, and other items from warehouse, keeping records and compiling inventory reports.

What you’ll be responsible for in this role:

• Complete general housekeeping duties
• Receive and count inventory, and record data manually or using a computer
• Put correct inventory in correct bins
• Pick correct parts from locations to be used on the floor
• Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves
• Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisor
• Maintain work area in clean, safe and orderly manner
• Use proper safety equipment and apparel required for each operation on individual’s product line or work cell
• Operate fork-truck
• Perform other duties as assigned
