Job summary

ORS Nasco is seeking a Warehouse Worker II to join our Atlanta distribution team. You will manage inventory, process shipments, and support picking and packing to ensure on-time order fulfillment. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Hours are typically Monday–Friday with weekly pay and eligible benefits including 401(k) and health, dental, and vision coverage. Prior warehouse experience and ability to operate warehouse equipment are preferred.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in warehouse with inventory control, shipping/receiving, and picking/packing.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory software.
  • Physical ability to lift/move heavy items and stand for extended periods.

The Warehouse Worker II plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse by managing inventory control, shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment processes. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, preparing and processing shipments, and ensuring that all goods are handled safely and efficiently. The role requires close collaboration with team members to meet daily operational goals and maintain a smooth workflow. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are essential to prevent errors and maintain a safe working environment. Ultimately, the Warehouse Worker II contributes to the overall success of the supply chain by ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products to customers and internal stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment with demonstrated skills in inventory control, shipping/receiving, and picking/packing.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely and effectively.
  • Basic computer skills to use inventory management software.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy items and stand for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in forklift operation or other warehouse equipment.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in warehousing.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
