Job Description

The Warehouse Worker’s main responsibilities include receiving and processing incoming products, preparing orders for transport, and performing inventory and quality control duties. This person ensures the warehouse is clean and organized, maintained according to facility protocols and safety standards.

Job Responsibilities
  • Receive and inspect products, accurately label items, and report discrepancies in deliveries and invoices.
  • Organize and store incoming products, applying FIFO inventory controls for perishables.
  • Operate manual pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, and forklifts as trained.
  • Pick inventory to assemble orders for requisitions or par levels.
  • Follow all SOPs to meet accuracy and production standards.
  • Load, unload, and transport products within the warehouse or to client locations, using carts or industrial vehicles.
  • Conduct routine physical inventory counts as scheduled.
  • Complete administrative records such as inventory logs, temperature/spoilage logs, and equipment inspections, either manually or digitally.
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas, including restrooms, break areas, loading docks, and freight zones.
  • Implement safety policies, OSHA standards, SDS protocols, and emergency procedures; use PPE.
  • Secure client and company assets.
  • Interact professionally with clients, employees, vendors, and guests; attend meetings as required.

Qualifications
  • Must be over 18 years old
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Preferred 2 years of warehouse experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Basic literacy, numeracy, and computer skills
  • Manual dexterity for operating machinery
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and carry objects weighing up to 35 lbs
  • Some client locations require a valid driver’s license; MVR may be checked during screening.

This role may involve physical activities such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking and standing. Uniforms and PPE may be required.
