Night shift

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Responsibilities:
  1. Unloads incoming product from vendors and trailers in the warehouse.
  2. Put away materials in appropriate locations.
  3. Verifies materials received against the invoice or bill of lading.
  4. Provides paperwork to the receiving clerk once checked.
  5. Gathers material transfer requests for outbound shipments.
  6. Executes directives for organizing all materials in the warehouse.
  7. Confirms material movements are in process and assists in locating materials.
  8. Works on the floor as needed.
Skills/Qualifications:
  • Forklift knowledge and safety procedures.
  • Excellent knowledge of all raw material components, locations, and quantities in the main and offsite warehouses.
  • Ability to read, complete, and process all receiving paperwork and transfers.
  • Ability to read tape measure (1/32" precision).
  • Forklift operating skills for loading/unloading, lifting, moving, stacking raw materials, and navigating the plant and warehouse.
  • Perform visual quality checks and utilize warehousing and kanban systems.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • High responsibility level; performs first and final checks of inbound materials with minimal supervision.
  • Independent decision-making skills.
  • Responsible for warehouse layout and cleanliness.
  • Excellent communication skills for coordination with receiving clerks, employees, and truck drivers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with constant material flow and attention to detail.

Note: Understanding English is preferred but not required.

Physical/Mental Demands:

Employees must be able to read and write, stand frequently, perform repetitive motions, walk, handle, reach, bend, stoop, twist, push, pull, talk, and hear. Manual lifting of materials up to 50 lbs. with assistance is required. The role involves constant movement, visual acuity, and working among moving parts, oils, greases, coolants, fumes, and airborne particulates. Environment may vary with cold and heat conditions.
