Job summary

Penske Logistics is seeking a warehouse associate to join our team in Alburtis, PA. This role emphasizes safety, a positive attitude, and efficiency in a warehouse setting.

You will stage, sort, load/unload trailers, and operate forklifts or pallet jacks as needed. We offer a competitive wage and a comprehensive benefits package including insurance and a 401K.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required.
• Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking, organizational, flexible, and time management skills required.
• Flexible to work overtime preferred.
• Willingness to work the required schedule and location.

Responsibilities

• Accurately stage and sort products for loading.
• Loads and unloads trailers.
• Opens and closes dock doors.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Move materials within the warehouse.
• Complies with all safety requirements.
• Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and a variety of warehouse mechanical equipment (where applicable).
• Transport stored items from warehouse to plant or to pickup locations for shipment (where applicable).
• Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Work Schedule

• 3rd Shift
• Friday to Sunday 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM
• Schedule is for 36 hours but associate is paid for 40

• Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions required
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job

• Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required
• Complete a Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
