Penske Logistics is seeking warehouse associates in Groveport, OH to join a safety-conscious team. The role offers steady, daytime shifts with a clear path for growth within a leading logistics provider.

Compensation includes a base wage and shift differential, plus benefits such as PTO, health, dental, vision, life insurance and a 401K. Candidates will handle loading, scanning, packing and careful material handling in a non-climate-controlled environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• No prior warehouse experience required but preferred.
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required.
• Flexible to work overtime preferred.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.

Responsibilities

• Accurately stage and sort products for loading.
• Loads and unloads trailers.
• Stacks cardboard boxes and pallets.
• Move materials within the warehouse.
• Complies with all safety requirements.
• Package or kit finished product for shipping.
• Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system.
• Quality control.
• Complete daily logs.
• Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs.

Sunday-Thursday - 6:00 am to 2:30 pm

Compensation:

M-F Schedule - $21.12 per hour

Sun-Thurs Schedule- $21.12 per hour plus $2.00 shift differential totaling $23.12 per hour

Job Responsibilities:

• Accurately stage and sort products for loading

• Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system
• Quality control
• Complete daily logs
• Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs
• Record numbers of units handled and moved, using daily production sheets or work tickets
• Pack containers and re-pack damaged containers
• Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed
• Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards
• Uses computer to enter records
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and a variety of warehouse mechanical equipment (where applicable

Qualifications:

• Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, excellent with numbers and time management skills required
• Flexible to work overtime preferred
• Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions required
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
