Sheehan Family Companies in Everett, MA is hiring a Warehouse Worker / Forklift Operator to receive, replenish, and move product in a fast-paced warehouse. You will operate a forklift, strip down and prep trucks, and ensure accurate inventory and safety compliance.

Schedule is Monday through Friday from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch; starting pay is $22 per hour, with a pay range of $22–$28 per hour; this is a full-time, non-exempt hourly role.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work Monday–Friday 9:30am–6:00pm.
• 1 year warehouse forklift experience required; 2+ years preferred.
• Forklift certification required.
• Basic computer skills for inventory and order tracking.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Strip down retail trucks Monday through Friday.
• Replenish and receive stock.
• Stock the warehouse with accurate location tracking.
• Report inventory discrepancies or safety hazards.

Job description

Title: Warehouse Worker / Forklift Operator

Location: Everett, MA

Status: Full-Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt

Schedule: Monday through Friday 9:30am - 6pm [ 30 minute unpaid lunch break built in ]

Compensation: Starting Pay Rate: $22.00/hr; Pay Range: $22.00 - $28.00/hr

Objective:The Warehouse Worker / Forklift Operator is responsible for receiving, replenishing, cleaning up, and stripping down retail trucks and performing other general warehouse duties as assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Strip down retail trucks Monday through Friday
  • remove all products and materials from trailers
  • sweep trailers
  • dispose of products in warehouse in accordance with trash and recycling policies
  • organize empty kegs for redemption to suppliers
• Replenish
• Receive
• Stock warehouse in an efficient manner ensuring proper stock rotation and location accuracy
• Clean Up
• Report any inventory discrepancies, damaged products, or safety hazards to the Assistant Operations Manager
• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with team members and operations management to meet daily operational goals
• Stay current with required safety training
• Other duties as assigned

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Sufficient manual dexterity to operate equipment including, but not limited to, forklift, pallet jack, hand truck
• Climbing stairs and inclined surfaces on an occasional basis
• Walking and standing on hard surfaces on a frequent basis
• Two handed lifting of up to 2 cases of beer [55lbs] from floor to shoulder height on a frequent basis
• Occasional exposure to temperatures ranging from 0 - 105 F on a seasonal basis
• Repetitive manual handling of half barrels [165lbs each] , quarter barrels [ 90lbs each], and cases of beer [ 27lbs each ]
