John Kirk currently has a position available for a Warehouse Worker/Delivery Driver.

We are looking for a full-time Warehouse Worker/Delivery Driver with well-rounded skills. Communication skills are important, as this position will include interaction with clients, sales staff, and in-office staff. A strong work ethic and the ability to contribute to a collaborative team environment are essential.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Interacting and assisting customers in a furniture retail sales environment.
• Protecting all company assets in the warehouse, including non-stock merchandise.
• Providing a safe and clean environment for warehouse personnel.
• Placing stock orders as required.
• Counting and receiving incoming merchandise; reporting shortages/overages to management in a timely manner, before deadlines.
• Counting and completing all paperwork for merchandise returns to vendors.
• Providing ongoing stock replenishment to the sales floor.
• Isolating, sorting, and organizing damaged and outdated products for supplier credits and returns.
• Organizing all merchandise for annual inventory.
• Assisting in inventory and reconciliation of variances.
• Notifying management of out-of-stock merchandise.
• Assisting in stocking stores and backrooms.
• Assisting in trash removal and recycling.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Effective communication skills.
• Good time-management and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Ability to lift, pull, push, and carry 75 lbs. or more.
• Ability to work in environments exposed to the elements, both hot and cold.
• Preference for a consistent and organized environment.
• Desire to be part of a team.
• Minimum requirement for hire: license or higher CDL.
