Job summary

Johnson Brothers, a leading family-owned distributor of wine, spirits, and beer in Nebraska, seeks a dedicated Warehouse Worker to join its team. You will receive, store, and pick alcoholic beverages in a fast-paced distribution environment, focusing on accuracy and safety.

Use barcode scanning and a Warehouse Management System, operate forklift equipment, replenish locations, and maintain stock records with accuracy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in warehouse or distribution is a plus.
• Basic computer and barcode scanning skills desired.

Responsibilities

• Receive products from suppliers and verify inventory accuracy with scanning devices.
• Put away inbound pallets in racked or bulk locations.
• Replenish locations for selection and pick orders.
• Use barcode scanning and WMS to locate and account for products.
• Remove damaged items following procedures and safety rules.
• Safely operate manual and powered equipment, including forklifts.
• Complete forklift certification program.
• Follow standard processes for order selection and fulfillment.
• Maintain cleanliness and adhere to safety protocols.
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.

Job Description:

Schedule:

• Shift hours starting early AM
• Approximately 8-10 hours per shift
• 5 Day Work Week, Monday through Friday

Pay:

$20.00/hour

Job Profile Summary:

Dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to work in the wine and spirits industry, responsible for receiving, storing, and picking alcoholic beverage products in a fast-paced distribution environment. Skilled in inventory management, palletizing, forklift operation, and maintaining accurate stock records while adhering to safety regulations and industry compliance standards. Demonstrates strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet productivity goals while ensuring product quality and customer satisfaction. Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team to support efficient warehouse operations.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Receiving product from suppliers – ensuring accuracy of incoming inventory using scanning devices
• Put away inbound pallets of freight in both racked and bulk locations.
• Replenish locations for selection.
• Utilize Warehouse Management System bar code scanning system to accurately account for and locate product.
• Ensure all damaged products are properly removed from inventory and handled in accordance with procedures.
• Safely operate and utilize manual and power equipment.
• Complete forklift certification program.
• Order selection following standard processes
• Follow all safety and cleanliness protocols
• Other warehouse duties and activities as assigned.
