California Sierra Express Inc. in Compton is hiring a Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator to load and unload 53' dry van trailers and aid drivers with freight movement. You will receive inbound shipments, stage outbound freight, verify paperwork, and enter shipment data into our Freight Management System.

A minimum of 1 year forklift experience in an LTL logistics environment is required. We offer a Monday–Friday day schedule with Saturday rotation, paid vacation, holidays and benefits

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year forklift experience in an LTL, freight or logistics warehouse.
• Ability to safely lift, push, pull and move freight throughout shifts.
• Basic computer/data-entry skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload 53' dry van trailers.
• Receive inbound shipments and verify cargo condition.
• Stage outbound freight for shipment and assist drivers.
• Verify shipment paperwork and label pallets as required.
• Enter shipment information into the Freight Management System.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized warehouse and yard.
