The Odom Corporation is hiring for an Operations - Warehouse role. This full-time position handles daily receiving, stocking, and pulling of products to fulfill customer orders with accuracy and speed.

Employees are expected to unload and load trucks, verify receipts, and use system tools to manage workflow. Forklift certification is required or obtainable; benefits include PTO, holidays, and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Prefer warehousing and inventory procedures experience.
• Must have or be able to obtain forklift certification.

Responsabilités

• Receive, stock, and pull products for orders accurately and timely.
• Unload/load delivery trucks and verify receipts against orders.
• Operate company systems to direct workflow and follow pick sheets.
• Build orders on pallets and ensure safe, accurate delivery.
• Maintain neat, organized locations and rotate stock for freshness.
• Participate in inventory cycles and forklift operation training.

Pay range $23.00 - $29.00 per hour Depending on Experience

• $500 Signing Bonus (Paid at 60 days of employment)
• $500 retention bonuses paid at 6-month and 12-month marks of employment
• Up to 128 hours of Paid Time Off Annually to start (13 days)

Job Description

Responsible for the daily receiving, stocking, and pulling of product for customer orders all in a timely and accurate manner.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Daily loads or unloads delivery trucks.
• Counts, sorts, or weighs incoming product to verify receipt of items.
• Stores products in bins, racks, on floor, or on shelves according to identifying information such as style, size, brand, or type of material.
• Understands and utilizes company specific computer systems and software to direct and control workflow.
• Reads and efficiently works the customers pick sheets to accurately determine items to be gathered, palletized, and distributed.
• Ability to obtain and maintain case picks per hour and accuracy goals as assigned.
• Examines stock to verify conformance to quality specifications and takes pride in products being distributed.
• Keeps all locations neat, organized, and straightened, while maintaining the rotation of product to ensure freshness.
• Fills orders or issues supplies from stock with care, concern, and diligence.
• Assembles customer orders from stock and builds orders on pallets, effectively and safely for successful delivery.
• Accurately documents the number of products or items received or distributed, or set aside due to damage or “out-of-date.”
• Helps to clean up all warehouse areas worked during shift by sweeping, discarding trash, and empty boxes prior to end of shift.
• Participates in weekly, monthly, or annual inventory cycles to count appropriate SKU’s.
• Participates and receives training certificate for proper and safe operation of forklifts and pallet jacks.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED); one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Prefer working knowledge of warehousing, forklift and pallet jack operations, pallet building, and inventory procedures.
• Must have or acquire forklift certification.

• This position requires regular and constant lifting/moving/pulling or pushing of 27-55 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move items weighing up to 170 pounds (full beer kegs).
• Employees are regularly required to sit, stand, or walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. Frequently required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• Required that all individuals have complete visual ability to minimize personal and property damage.

• Varying temperature levels as product may be located in a cooler or on the warehouse floor.
