Job Description

The Warehouse Worker’s main responsibilities include receiving and processing incoming products, preparing orders for transport, and performing inventory and quality control duties. This person ensures the warehouse is clean and organized, maintained in accordance with the facility protocols and safety standards.

Job Responsibilities

1. Receive and inspect products, accurately label items, and report discrepancies in deliveries and invoices.
2. Organize and store incoming products in assigned locations, applying FIFO inventory controls for perishable items.
3. Operate manual pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, and/or forklifts after training.
4. Pick inventory to assemble orders for requisitions or established par levels.
5. Follow all Standard Operating Procedures to ensure accuracy and meet production standards.
6. Load, unload, and transport products within the warehouse or to other client locations, using carts or industrial vehicles.
7. Conduct routine physical inventory counts based on established schedules.
8. Complete administrative tasks such as inventory records, logs, and inspections, either on paper or digitally.
9. Maintain cleanliness of work areas, including restrooms, break areas, and loading zones.
10. Implement safety policies, OSHA standards, SDS protocols, and emergency procedures, using required PPE.
11. Secure client and company assets appropriately.
12. Interact professionally with clients, employees, vendors, and guests, and attend meetings as required.
