Cordova Safety, a Bunzl company, is hiring for a 1st shift Warehouse Worker. The Warehouse Worker will perform a variety of functions, including efficiently picking customer orders for shipment, ensuring correct loading and shipping, and transporting orders within the warehouse using material handling equipment.

Cordova Safety will relocate to 685 Hwy 72, Piperton, TN 38017, in June 2025. All applicants must be willing to commute to this new location.

Responsibilities

1. Efficiently pick customer orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy. Transport orders to shipping locations or belts with material handling equipment.
2. Repack and label orders as needed. Report quality variances.
3. Ensure outbound shipments are accurate and undamaged.
4. Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and electric jacks; perform daily inspections and minor maintenance.
5. Keep inventory organized, neat, and undamaged; avoid opening more than one partial carton at a time.
6. Verify order quantities before processing deliveries.
7. Load trailers after processing deliveries.
8. Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment, adhering to safety standards and OSHA/MSDS regulations.
9. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

1. Previous warehouse or forklift experience is a plus but not required.
2. Ability to lift 60-75 lbs occasionally, with or without accommodations.
3. Willingness to work overtime as needed.
4. Dependability and teamwork skills.
5. Strong attention to detail.
6. Availability to work Monday-Friday, 8 am - 5 pm.
