Job summary

Penske Logistics is seeking warehouse associates to join an excellent team in Rincon, GA. This role emphasizes safety, reliability, and a positive, customer-focused attitude in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key duties include loading/unloading, staging products, operating a stand-up clamp truck, scanning items with a warehouse management system, and maintaining accurate daily logs. The position offers full-time hours with weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions is required.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Safety sensitive role with attention to safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Stand Up Clamp Truck.
• Accurately stage and sort products for loading.
• Loads and unloads trailers.
• Sorts and places parts in racks or designated areas.
• Stacks cardboard boxes and pallets.
• Package or kit finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling).
• Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system.
• Complete daily logs.
• Record numbers of units handled/moved using production sheets.
• Assemble product containers/crates using hand tools.

Work Schedule and Pay

• Full time; Weekend Day shift Thursdays to Saturdays 12:00PM to 12:30AM
• Pay $20 base pay plus shift differentials ($1 on Thursdays and $2 on Fridays and Saturdays)

Job Responsibilities: Including but not limited to

Qualifications

• No prior experience required but preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required
• Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, excellent with numbers and time management skills required
• Flexible to work overtime preferred
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required
• This position is designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
