Quanex is seeking a Warehouse Worker - CDL in Rice Lake, Wisconsin. The role involves moving trailers, loading and unloading materials, and operating a lift truck to manage inventory and shipments.

Qualifications

• CDL license required and clean driving record.
• Ability to operate lift trucks and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers in and out of shipping/receiving docks.
• Check, weigh, unload; report missing items and photograph damaged goods.
• Operate lift truck to move, stack, shelve and deliver material; process UPS shipments.
• Fill daily truck maintenance reports and perform trailer inspections.
• Report malfunctions and keep work area clean and orderly.
• Perform other duties on the production floor as assigned.

What Success Looks Like

• Move trailers in and out of shipping/receiving docks
• Work from orders, schedules, shipping, receiving papers, lists, tally sheets, instructions to check, load correctly marked cartons to achieve economical use of cargo space, and to minimize in-transit damage
• Check, weigh count, unload, sign for incoming material; ensure accurate count, report missing product, take a photograph of damaged items
• Operate lift truck to move, pick up, stack, shelve, deliver material, delivery; process outgoing United Parcel Service shipments
• Fill out daily truck maintenance report, perform trailer inspections, check battery, put electric truck on charge at end of shift
• Report malfunctions, unusual conditions; keep equipment, work area in clean, orderly condition
• Performs other related duties on the production floor as necessary or assigned.

The hourly wage for this position starts at $23/hour.
