Xcel Energy has a Warehouse Worker D, C, B, or A 6 Mos., opportunity available at Bushland Service Center in Bushland, TX.

Prior warehouse experience and inventory knowledge are strongly preferred.

Summary

This position is responsible for performing all duties of warehousing and material handling at an electric utility power plant. This includes filling, receiving, loading, unloading, shipping, coordinating, and transporting materials. Close coordination and communication with plant personnel, related company personnel, and suppliers are required.

Work hours may include overtime and callouts. The role may require providing backup for other material logistics personnel at different plants. The environment may be hot, cold, dusty, or dirty, and good housekeeping is essential.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School or equivalent education
• Basic computer skills needed
• Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license required

Preferred Requirements:

• Class A CDL
• Forklift certification preferred
• Knowledge of materials and warehouse processes preferred
• Experience in material and warehouse processes preferred
• 3-5 years of material planning and operations experience preferred
