POOLCORP is seeking a delivery driver in Houston with a CDL Class B license to pull, pack, and deliver orders and assist with loading responsibilities. Location: Houston Sun Wholesale DC - SW01; 4300 Pine Timbers St, Ste 110, Houston, TX 77041

Pay: $25 / hour and up to $2,500 through our performance bonuses.

Work Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00AM - 4:00PM; Driving shift as needed starts at 5:00PM

What to Expect?

• Accurately pulls, fills, packs and sets up orders for delivery or pickup.


• Assists in loading the delivery truck.


• Receives shipments, logs into inventory , maintains inventory through audits.


• Communicates positively with supervisors, sales staff, fellow workers and customers to coordinate deliveries/pick- up .


• Operates a forklift safely and efficiently, maintains required certification, performs vehicle safety checks and reports discrepancies to supervisor.


• Assists in keeping facility clean, neat, safe and operating efficiently.


• Other duties as assigned.

Backup Driver Duties (On a as needed basis)

• Make deliveries using the most effective route to ensure orders are delivered on time.


• Load and unload the vehicle, ensuring that all products are properly secured, and hazardous material is separated appropriately.


• Collect payments and accurately document delivery.


• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR)).


• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and inform supervisor of any maintenance needed.


• Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and presentable on a daily basis .


• Increase job and product knowledge on an ongoing basis.


• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Will Need:

• To be at least 21 years old.


• A valid driver's license (Commercial Driver's License, CDL, if applicable) , preferably with HAZMAT endorsement.


• A Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and Pre-Employment Screening Program (PSP) indicating no more than 2 combined violations or at fault accidents in the past 3 years.


• High school diploma or GED.


• Ability to maneuver heavy objects , some weighing up to 100 pounds.


• Prior forklift experience.


• Follow and carry out instructions with minimal supervision.


• Prior experience in distribution, general labor or warehousing preferred.
