Job description

**Position Summary:**

Are you detail-oriented, organized, and committed to operational excellence? Penske Logistics is hiring an Auditor for our warehouse in Kinloch, MO!

As an Auditor, your role is critical for maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. You will ensure the quality and accuracy of inbound pallets, guaranteeing that orders are accurate and products arrive in excellent condition. **_New Associates are eligible for a $1500 retention bonus after 90 days of employment!_**

**Schedule:**

+ 3:00am - End Of Production (shifts average 10-12 hours)

+ Tuesday - Saturday

**Pay Details:**

+ Base Rate: $18/hr

**Perfect Attendance Incentive:**

+ Earn an additional $3-5/hr!

**Duties and Responsibilities:**

+ Responsible for randomly selecting pallets for audit and maintaining audit compliance percentage required per shift

+ Responsible for inspection and ensuring pallets have moved to correct locations within the warehouse

+ Coordinate with Dock Supervisor, Receivers, and Reach Truck Operators to resolve discrepancies

+ Use an electric pallet jack to move the pallet to a designated safe zone for audit or audit the pallet in place

+ Use scanner to determine items and quantities assigned to a given pallet

+ Match items to check for accuracy and check for damages

+ Ensure labels are properly placed on the pallets and correct stacking methods were used

+ Accountable for making corrections to pallets as needed

+ Complete error worksheets for any corrections that must be made and report to Dock Supervisor

+ Help conduct audit of one full load per shift

+ Place stickers after audits are complete with the time, date and Operator ID

+ Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor

**Qualifications:**

+ Read, write, understand and speak English

+ Must have knowledge of computers and ability to learn WIN and other internal systems

+ Must obtain and be able to use handheld computer/scanners constantly, prior experience preferred but not required

+ Must be able to operate an electric pallet jack, prior experience preferred or a willingness to be trained is required.

+ Must be able to successfully communicate with order selectors, loaders and supervisors. This might include non English-speaking employees as well

+ Ability to work in non-climate controlled conditions required

+ Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job

+ Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required

**Physical requirements and working conditions:**

+ The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job

+ Standing, walking, reaching, stooping, crouching, lifting, scanning and pushing for prolonged periods of time

+ Manual dexterity to manipulate tools of job

+ Near visual acuity/good hearing required

+ Ability to work in a temperature controlled environment

+ Must be able to Occasionally lift above the head and shoulders.

+ Must be able to regularly lift, push, pull and/or move up to 50lbs/23kg and occasionally lift, push, pull and/or move up to 100lbs/45kg
