Warehouse Worker (AM) $19.25/hr - Charlotte, NC

$19.25 Hourly

Hours: 7 AM to 3:30 PM -- Monday through Friday

Empire Distributors Inc, a leading beverage distributor, is now hiring an AM Warehouse Worker. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Picks product (cases and bottles) with RF scanners from shelves and racks to fulfill orders.
• Receives stock and verifies accuracy before storing.
• Operates forklift, order picker, and hand trucks to transport products.
• Loads and unloads inventory from trucks using manual handling, forklifts, or hand trucks.
• Follows procedures for signing in and out equipment.
• Performs fulfillment functions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area.
• Re-warehouses broken inventory and sorts remaining sellable inventory back to proper locations.
• Re-warehouses loose bottles, requesting supervisor assistance if needed.
• Replenishes and cleans designated areas during shifts, ensuring proper storage of pallets and trash.
• Puts away returned products using DCMS scanners.
• Destroys unsellable inventory and reconciles breakage inventory monthly with the State Tax Department.
• Prepares parcels for mailing.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED, or 1-3 months related experience/training, or equivalent.

Certificates and Licenses

• Ability to obtain and maintain a forklift certification.

Computer Skills

• Basic computer knowledge.
