Job Description for Warehouse Packer

The Packer will safely consolidate, pack, and wrap sheet metal and metal plates. They will also accurately complete all related paperwork.

This role is vital as it contributes to the efficient manufacturing of our products while maintaining a safe work environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up packing materials according to product plans and schedules.
• Measure and align materials.
• Inspect products for quality standards and specifications.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Pack approved orders following instructions.
• Operate overhead cranes as needed for shipment preparation.
• Adhere to the company's quality management system.
• Willing to cross-train and participate in continuous improvement projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

• Ability to operate or learn to operate equipment safely.
• Follow instructions accurately.
• Read and interpret product plans.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: at least one year of experience in metal fabrication or related fields.
