Position Overview

We are seeking positive, ambitious, outgoing individuals with impeccable people skills to join our growth-oriented team. The primary responsibility of warehouse employees is to perform various warehouse tasks to efficiently support Steiner sales personnel and serve our customers. This includes receipt, storage, protection of inventory, and timely, accurate processing of customer orders.

Essential Functions

• Complete order picking, packing, receiving, shipping, and truck loading tasks accurately and promptly
• Perform general housekeeping tasks
• Utilize computer equipment as required
• Wire cuts when needed
• Act responsibly and safely at all times in the warehouse
• Follow all company policies and work rules
• Maintain clean and organized work areas

Physical Requirements

• Stand on concrete surfaces for extended periods
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds, including bulky items
• Perform bending and twisting motions
• Pushing and pulling fully loaded manual pallet jacks and carts

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of warehouse experience
• Ability to become forklift certified; previous forklift experience preferred
• Experience working with computerized systems
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written
