Job summary

Meyer Distributing is hiring Warehouse Workers for our Jasper, IN location. The role loads/unloads trucks, stocks/ pulls stock, and operates forklifts and manlifts to ensure accurate, timely shipping.

The position offers up to $20/hour with review-based increases, a stable 40-hour week, and a suite of benefits including medical, vision, dental, 401K with match, and paid holidays. Candidates must be able to lift 75 lbs and obtain forklift/manlift certification within 3 months.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to engage in repetitious bending and lifting.
• Ability to operate equipment - forklift/manlift (cherry picker).
• Must obtain forklift and manlift certification within 3 months.
• Must be able to work up to 25 feet above ground level.
• Must not be afraid of heights.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and distribute products to appropriate area of warehouse for restocking.
• Use scanners to place parts in proper bins and pulls orders.
• Stock parts on racks in proper location.
• Fill orders from warehouse stock and distributes items to shipping or to designated route driver/customer pick-up staging area.
• Place product on pallets and wraps it in film and bands it using banding equipment.
• Assist in counting and reconciliation of physical inventory.
• Keep warehouse and work area clean and organized at all times.
• Wear protective toed shoes and work in a safe manner at all times.
• Move products manually and with the assistance of a forklift and manlift.
• Load trucks and secures product.
• All other duties as assigned.

Meyer Distributing is looking for Warehouse Workers to join our Jasper, IN team!

The Warehouse Worker loads and unloads trucks, stocks products in appropriate locations, pulls stock and stages products for shipping, and operates powered industrial equipment (forklift/manlift), ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions.

Hourly Rate for Warehouse Worker:

• Up to $20/hour, with opportunities for increases through performance reviews

Schedule (End times may vary):

• Stable schedule: 5-day work week ~40 hours
• Monday - Thursday: 12:45pm - 8:30pm
• Rotating Friday/Saturday: Friday: 11:00am – 8:30pm OR Saturday: 9:00am – 6:00pm
